A day out with Lucas & Derrick

*November 10th 2008*

It has been some time i didn't hang out with my buddies.. Most of them working part time, sum hav to help their parents in the family business. I miss them as well, kia joo's bro is staying with me during that few days coz he works for the Samsung roadshow in Queensbay Mall which i fail to get the job during my 2nd time interview.. =(

Well, my college's Semester 6 gonna to start soon.. and i spend most of my semester break time in penang...

And on this day i managed to get Lucas to hang out with me.. ngek!! Coz he planned to get himself a pair of contact lens, how SEXY of him *grinning*
We arrived Queensbay Mall at 7pm++, then we take our dinner at KFC, wakakka!!

After having the delicious fried chicken, we walked to England Optical shop which is juz next door to KFC. Poor Lucas taking for almost 10 - 15mins wearing the contact lens xDDD

too bad i din took a video of him, coz i was busy looking at his stupidity... =D
After that he decided to take 2 pairs of transparent contact lens from the optical shop, wow... someone is goin to be "different" from the NERD he used to be..

I ♥ Doodlez

Doodlez Doodlez Doodlez... a short animation which is produced by Cellar-Door Productions, u can watch it on Astro's Nickelodeon Asia whenever a tv show ends, it'll come on air for 2 mins of it's animation.. although it's short, i still enjoyed it =D

Let me introduce more about Doodlez..

Our hero, Dood aka main character, is a generally good-natured, if somewhat short-tempered doodle drawn by an omnipotent and unknowable Hand onto a blank page. As Hand draws more and more elements into existence, Dood is led by his overpowering curiosity into a misadventure that more than likely will involve him being put through a veritable blender of cartoon torture. When he comes out the other side, Dood may be broken, but his spirit never is.

Funny and fast-paced, the overall style and attitude of the show is edgy and irreverent, always playing with cartoon conventions. Like any doodle, doesn't have a purpose beyond simple entertainment, it’s completely free and unpredictable. It will take you anywhere, anytime, in an animated world of undefined potential where normal rules don't apply.

Dood doesn't have a whole lot of patience, and will probably not be able to stand a long wait for any gratification. He has a temper, and can be easily irritated or pissed off. Once someone is in his bad books, he will often hold a grudge, and look to one-up them or even get revenge for the slight. But his memory isn't long, and his outlook is generally cheery, so it doesn't take much for him to get over sore feelings if his competitor extends even the slimmest olive branch.

He is very creative and resourceful. There are not many obstacles that he won't be able to eventually surmount. He might get frustrated trying to solve a problem, but nothing can keep him from trying, even after numerous painful failures. He is very persistent and not one for giving up, unless of course he were to be distracted by some other, more attractive goal.

Homecoming....

Well.. party in penang is over, 5th semester ends with "style" =D
It's time for homecoming!!
As for this time... i'm goin to work in Star Parade aka Pacific, alor star. Working for Sony Fair. And the pay.. RM150 per day x4days = RM600

Here comes the $ $ $ !!!

Day 1
Morning 9am - i wrote this blog while i was waiting for my housemates(Jowin and Abbie), my ex-housemate(sio siew), and my lovable classmate(Lucas Tan Hock Hock) coming all the way from penang. They're working the same fair with me as well... cant wait to see them!!

I was sent to promote the Sony Bravia LCD

Many ppl came to see the LCD's during the roadshow is on.. coz there's 19", 20", 32", 37", 40", 46", and 52" LCD's on sale.

Guess wad i saw? I saw this kewl phrase printed on this man's shirt ...

Kewl huh? I wonder whether he got beaten up by some other team supporters or fans... =D

And guess wad... i met many ppl as well.. and i oso met my long lost contact fren >> Choo Pei Ling, i met her at the hwa tua guan in pacific. I met her mum, and her FIANCEE as well... they're getting married this coming Dec 4th, i'm still not sure whether i can make it or not.. =/

It was a totalled suprise for me, congratz to u yah Ms. Choo Pei Ling!!


Day 2:
There's even mor eppl coz it's FRIDAY, which is also a weekend holiday for the alor star people. And of coz... many LLZ & LLM as well... =X

And the camera sales keep on goin up, so as Bravia =)

Day 3:
It was SATURDAY, many malay workers having a day off.. our place is damn packed wif people coz they can watch movie and feel the power of the home theater system for FREE!! I feel stupid when i go ask my customers one-by-one, keep on reapeating my phrases.. *sigh*

8pm = Happy Hours Auction time!! (i din took photos or video for this 1 coz i'm busy working!!)

Day 4 (Last Day):
Finally!! the day drives to an end.. my legs are crying for energies!!!

And guess wad i got from the Auction Fair? i din took video coz it's unexpected Lucas and me bid on a Home Theater System!! The actual price is RM899, but we got it for RM99!!! that's right, guys!! RM899 - RM800 = *RM99* Mwahahahhahaha~ Which is a good buy to me!! *happy+excited*

23rd Oct is June's b'day.. wakaka... luckily this time i din get it wrong

It was the day my semester5 final exam ends... wakakakkaka~ i PASSED all as well... =)

We celebrated my sis's b'day at her hostel, but it's a surprise for her(but actually it isnt any more.. thx to kia joo, the big mouth sohai =.=)

i reached to my sis's hostel at 8:30pm.. and Nic, Zheng, Darren, Danny and Terry is oredi there to set up the fire for the barbeque. 辛苦你们了...

Finally... camera fair has come to the end =D

wooooooohooooooooo!!! after the 4 days of exhausting and tiring on my mouth and my legs... FINALLY...!~~~ i've got through all!! wad a relief!!

first 2 days = Jusco (Perai)
next 2 days = Tesco Xtra (Seberang Jaya)

but i managed to get 2 FREE gifts as well from Olympus!! mwahahaha!!!~~

I was disturbed by Jesper during the 1st day i met him, kinda hate him!! Keep on asking me how many sales i've did, wanna challenge me who got the higher sales, EVERYBODY say he's noisy becoz he talks a lot, bossing around like he's a senior and got more experience than all of us.. but actually he's juz a NEWBIRD for the fair, hahahahah!!

from day 1, me n lucas(classmate) has been sent to Jusco to work. which makes us feel sooooo boring!! and guess wad... hehe...
Before i stepped into the worker's entrance to the department i've sent to.. i saw...



1st few words coming out from my mouth:"wad the fuck is this?!??! BOW??" then i get a close looked up on the 2 stupid pictures posted on the door.


By that time i was thinking... who set those fuckin' rules!! Which makes me looked like an idiot doin those!! @#$%^&*!


Me n Lucas wasting our working time by chatting, talking craps... And he tellin all many stupid n meaningless stories to make me laugh..

Day 2:

We were been sent to the Olympus fair in Jusco, which is located at the ground floor.. with Sony and Canon, this is when i met Wan and Fendi. And guess wad, i realize that beside my fair is a Wall's Mini Poppers ice cream fair as well, a place which we get to taste the delicious mini poppers... :9

I stood there for almost 4 hours, and i felt my stomach is crying for food!! as i cant juz walked away from the fair.. i looked around.. mini poppers ice cream is seducing me and as i looked at the bread shop named "La Boheme"... There's sooooo many delicious breads on the tray!! Which makes me feeeeeel... ahhhh!!! Geram-nye!!

Later of the day... me n lucas were sent back to the Jusco's electronic section where we used to waste our time there, coz there's ntg much to do there... other than the talking crap stories.. we get to play with the digital cams, which i owiz wanted to play wif the DSLR from Olympus!!

I met one of my customer, 1 family.. they came to ask about cameras, and then i noticed the baby, which is damn cute!!~ and i take a few photos of the baby... =D









I noticed the baby when i was playing with my camera..

He wanted to touch my camera lens, then his mum stop him by grabbing his hand, he wanted to cry edy.. aww...~

Day 3:

It was a last minute decision made from our leader, he sent us to Tesco Xtra in Seberang Jaya.. And i cant get a chance to taste the mini poppers ice cream for FREE edy... bye bye mini poppers~ =(

It was a bigger fair than we did in Jusco, it has more brands as well.. Sony, Samsung, Olympus, Canon, Nikon. Of course the pressure is 3 times more!!
But we got sales for the cameras as well!! =D

As i was looking around while i stood inside my counter... i saw....

not much things to take photos coz i was busying serving my customers.. hiak hiak~~ very very happy if my customers buy cameras from me, coz commission will be flying into my pocket~ so i need to put more effort in it!!

Later of the day....

our brother Lucas started to get boring..*maybe*, so he juz stood there doin ntg, and i take some flyers in my arm to distribute to the customers coming up from the escalator.. and after half an hour... i saw...







Caught in action!! Lucas started to approached the Nikon female promoter.. her name is Diana *winks winks*

I watched them for 15 minutes++, it was damned funny coz i was wondering wad happened if the girl talk in chinese to him.. as he is english educated. xDDD~
But after a few minutes i watch them.. i realize he's using hokkien to communicate with Diana.

amboi... closer edy.. dunno wad they're talking about.... hmm.... how bout a little more close up?

Finally... but i still dun get to listen any of their conversation.. >.<||| *aheemm* better get bec to my work now...

But after dat.. i saw an unexpected thing... i saw Lucas showing his IC to Diana... for those who dunno why he did dat.. He wanted to show his IC coz his REAL NAME is Tan Hock Hock = 陈福福... so kewl!!! hahahahhahahaha!!!

We're busying working whole morning n afternoon... until evening... we only got our chance to take our 1st meal of the day.... =(

Alone alone alone...

After 13 hours of working in BM Jusco(from 10am morning to 11pm), finally i came bec from work.. Well guess wad, my housemate is not at home, the house is so quiet.. =(
Thinking of updating my blog as well, but it seems that i'm tired to do so, coz i'm goin to work again 2moro in butterworth. So mostly after my last day of working on Monday or after Monday i'll get to get it updated =) (Cant wait to do so!!)

雨伞是我的好朋友

It's been a raining season in penang as i'm staying indoors to blog.. =)
(i was supposed to study for my last paper but i was distracted by facebook.. ngek!!)
Earlier today i hav to fetch my sis to get her things settled, and it was cloudy outside.. And there's a little drizzling, which gives me a feeling like it's snowing!! =D
